NORTH TEXAS GIVING DAY - CHALLENGE GRANT

We're thrilled to announce that 100 Women Who Care has presented a generous $6,500 challenge grant to The Clubhouse — and now we need your help to meet it! Our goal is a 15-passenger Clubhouse van to take our Clubbers on field trips to the parks, museums, and adventures they love most.
----> 9/17 is the last day to contribute!

Our Mission

The Clubhouse for Special Needs offers a safe and enjoyable environment for teenagers and young adults with intellectual and physical challenges. Our program focuses on providing opportunities for education, socialization, and independence in a recreational setting.

We welcome individuals with intellectual disabilities and physical challenges, regardless of race, creed, or religion. Additionally, we offer respite services for families.

Our Programs

Our programs are designed for the needs of teenagers and young adults. We offer day programs, after-school programs & a summer program, each meticulously crafted to provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can thrive.

Built directly upon the legacy of the Come Read with Me curriculum, this program focuses on lifelong learning, language preservation, and intellectual advancement.

At the heart of our mission is the phrase “Socialization, Not Vegetation.” This pillar targets individual communication barriers to help Clubbers build genuine, lasting peer friendships.

Our Instructors do not believe in keeping our Clubbers isolated indoors; instead, we utilize the surrounding Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex as a real-world classroom.

This pillar is designed to build foundational, everyday autonomy. We teach the functional habits required for a Clubber to navigate their home to the best of their ability.

This pillar provides an essential outlet for self-expression, emotional regulation, and fine-motor development through music, movement, and the visual arts.
